Hello! My name is Kris Velez. I have been teaching for 19
years, in both art and the K-5 classroom.

Art has always been my passion since, I was a little girl, and
teaching art is the best job in the world! My heart is fullest when I am able to nurture creativity, imagination, and self-
expression in young people.
