Art at SCES

Students in all classes, kindergarten through fifth grade, will come to art class once a week.  Each class is 45 minutes according to the following schedule:

Kindergarten- 9:55-10:40

1st grade- 11:00-11:45

2nd grade- 11:50-12:35

3rd grade- 1:00-1:45

5th grade- 1:55-2:40

4th grade- 2:50-2:35

Over the course of the school year, students will use and explore a variety of tools, concepts, skills, artists, and cultural connections.

Students begin learning about, using, and analyzing the elements and principles of art in kindergarten.

To be successful in the art classroom, students need to be willing to try new things and give it their all!
